As I see it ....

Practiced and practical application of listening ability is essential to being a good commissioner. I want to listen to all. This desire is entirely not partisan. We must all live and work together to solve great problems of water supply, roads, working with the variety of governments and agencies of government, and more to solve tough problems. I can make tough decisions, but those are best made by civil people after a good long hard look at the big picture and finally asking the practical question of what solution serves us best. As I see it a lot of people want to move here to Otero County and there are small business opportunities. However, growth must be responsible and carefully planned within our resources. Listening skills are extremely important to a better life for all.
