As I see it ....
Volunteer fire departments, including their rescue abilities, are folk to be greatly appreciated and assisted to do the best job possible. I have been a member of my area volunteer fire for a number of years and have a deep appreciation and high regard for these folk who daily are willing to risk their lives to protect and serve us. I am in the auxiliary now because of back surgery but I have a son who is a Western Region Incident Commander for the Forest Service Hot Shots. He got his start with the Sacramento (NM) Hot Shots and worked his way up to a commander position. So for both professional and volunteer fire and rescue units, I say grace and peace go with you and thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are among my heroes and heroines.
