I enjoyed a great potluck supper at the James Canyon Volunteer Fire Department on

May 20. The group seemed genuinely appreciative of my brief statement on why we need a change in Otero County Commissioner District #3. Among the several things we discussed was the point that having me on the County commissioners would give volunteer fire fighters a link to county government.
