The parade opening the Otero County Fair was enjoyable, in spite of the heat.  I was joined in the campaign walk in the parade by my wife, Susan, daughter Cari with her husband Joe del Palacio and grandchildren, Andrew, Ashley and Autumn del Palacio.  They were great sports and hopefully helped to get my District 3 candidacy more widely known.
